Digi-Vet Equine DR

The Portable Imaging Solution for Today’s Equine Practice

The Digi-Vet Equine DR is a complete equine solution, fully integrated into one simple and truly portable field case. An amorphous silicon imager with built-in electronics provides fast captures— radiographs appear in two seconds. All components can be plugged into the main platform, thus requiring only one electrical connection. The entire system is transported on a rugged, rolling carrying cart. The cart opens up and may be configured to hold the system for operation on-site. The system is designed for use over a wide range of climates and is field serviceable.

Unlike competitive systems, the Digi-Vet Equine DR:

  • Provides 14 bit gray scale images, providing 4 times more information than 12 bit models
  • Uses an amorphous silicon sensor, which do not require a warming receptacle to prevent damage in colder environments. The included ViewAll Vet software will also compensate for any possible variations that would be caused by colder temperatures

Each Digi-Vet Equine DR System includes:

  • Digi-Vet Equine DR Imaging Plate—a rugged plate with 9" x 9" imaging area
  • Tunnel with carrying case—handles at 90° to facilitate easy handling
  • Interface module—with all power supplies and cabling pre-wired
  • Backup power supply
  • Sony® Vaio® notebook computer—X-Brite® display ensures crisp diagnostic images that meet ACR diagnostic specifications. Allows side by side comparisons.
  • External hard drive—for remote image storage
  • Full, preloaded software package, including:
    • ViewAll Vet AFP Imaging's proprietary software package which includes:
      • Comprehensive breed list for horses (over 200)
      • STAT Patient mode for rapid image acquisition
      • Easy to use report templates
      • DICOM 3.0 Send for easy integration with Veterinary Teleradiology and PACs
    • Ability to integrate with other computers, management software, printers and the Internet
  • Travel cart and all cables, including:
    • Cable is reinforced to 200 psi to resist damage
    • Easy field replaceable cables, minimizing down-time
    • Synch/trigger cable supplied according to X-ray type
